The B1 Schreiben exam requires you to write a structured opinion text. To score well, you must use connecting words beyond "und" and "aber." These advanced connectors are what separate a B1 response from a B2 one.
einerseits … andererseits (on one hand … on the other hand) and sowohl … als auch (both … and). Use these once each in your B1 writing task and you demonstrate clear B1 competence.
